Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled Organizes a Health and Sports Festival in Cooperation with the Ministry of Education
Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, organized a health and sports festival. The event was attended by Dr. Khalid Omar Al Madfa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled, and Mohammed Al Qaid Al Hammadi, Acting Executive Director. This initiative is part of the club's efforts to attract people with disabilities to its programs and to raise awareness of the sports and social services it provides to support and empower them.
The festival saw the participation of 13 schools from the Emirates of Sharjah and Ajman, with 122 female students in attendance. It featured a variety of sports and health activities focused on promoting physical activity and instilling the principles of a healthy lifestyle. The festival also highlighted the specialized programs and comprehensive services the club offers to people with disabilities.
The organizers emphasized that this initiative stems from a shared vision to strengthen community partnerships and raise awareness of Al Thiqa Club's role in providing a supportive and stimulating environment that contributes to the integration of people with disabilities into society and helps them achieve a better quality of life through sports and purposeful activities.
