In a gesture of appreciation and gratitude for a sporting career spanning years of dedication and hard work, the Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled honored Captain Ahmed Jassim, the wheelchair basketball team coach, in recognition of his distinguished career and significant achievements at the local and national levels.
The honoring ceremony was attended by His Excellency Dr. Khalid Omar Al Midfa, Chairman of the Al Thiqa Club, Mr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Qaid Al Hammadi, Board Member and Acting Executive Director, and a number of employees.
Dr. Khalid Omar Al Midfa praised the significant role played by Captain Ahmed Jassim during his tenure as coach of the team, noting his clear impact in developing the players' performance and achieving outstanding achievements for the club. He also highlighted his national contributions as a former coach of the UAE Wheelchair Basketball National Team for many years.
