100 participants excel in sports and cultural activities, supported by the Sharjah Sports Council and the Sharjah Chamber

The Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled continues to organize the "Our Holiday is Different" program as part of Sharjah Summer. This program is held amidst an atmosphere of joy, interaction, and widespread participation from the club's members with disabilities in both the boys' and girls' sections. The number of participants has reached more than 100, both male and female.
The program, which continues until July 31, 2025, offers a diverse range of sports, cultural, and social activities under the supervision of a select group of specialists and supervisors, with direct support from the club's management. This is in line with the club's vision of developing the capabilities of its members and effectively integrating them into society.
His Excellency Dr. Khalid Omar Al Midfa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled, said:
"We are delighted to see this great enthusiasm from our sons and daughters, and the continued successes achieved by the 'Our Holiday is Different' program, which has become a key summer destination for them to discover their abilities and expand their horizons. We thank everyone who contributed to the support and success of this annual event, most notably the Sharjah Sports Council."
For his part, Mr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Qaid Al Hammadi, Board Member and Acting Executive Director of the Club, emphasized:
"We are always keen to develop such programs to be comprehensive, safe, and stimulating, contributing to building the personalities of participants and developing their diverse skills, in line with their aspirations and needs."
Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled also praised the pioneering role played by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry in supporting community events, commending its effective contribution to enhancing the club's summer activities, reflecting its ongoing commitment to its social responsibility towards people with disabilities.
