Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled Honors Success Partners from Sponsors and Supporters

Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled hosted a recognition ceremony to honor its partners in success, including sponsors and supporters who have played a pivotal role in advancing the club’s mission.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of several distinguished guests, including H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamid Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Statistics and Community Development; H.E. Sheikh Khalid bin Hamid Al Qasimi, Chairman of Sharjah Cultural and Chess Club; H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Saqr Al Qasimi; H.E. Sheikh Saqr bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director of Franchise and Licensing at the Transport Activities Sector; and H.E. Issa Hilal, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, alongside a number of senior officials and media representatives.

The event commenced with the national anthem, followed by a speech delivered by H.E. Dr. Khalid Omar Al Midfa, Chairman of the Club’s Board of Directors. He expressed his deep appreciation for the unwavering support from the wise leadership and praised the initiative "2025: Year of Community". He also extended heartfelt thanks to H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Patron of People of Determination, for his generous sponsorship.

The ceremony featured heartfelt speeches by club athletes Shamma Al Marzouqi and Thani Al Shehhi, who expressed their gratitude to all supporters who contributed to their sporting success and helped raise the UAE’s flag high at international Paralympic events.
